I have a bachelors in Finance and a Masters in Accounting. I have been preparing tax returns since 2004.  I'm located in the Santa Cruz area in Aptos and have a home office, which I believe allows for a little more comfortable setting. If I am not familiar with a question or problem, I have all kinds of resources at my fingertips to help me provide the correct answer.

I have been doing accounting/bookkeeping work since 1990 and have now found my groove to be in tax preparation. I absolutely love my job and love the challenge that some clients bring.

I was licenses as an RSSA, Registered Social Security Analyst, but chose to not continue the license part of it. An RSSA means I have studied the complex laws and rules of Social Security – and have passed the national RSSA Competency Exam administered by the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts. I can still provide guidance for people through the complex considerations in their claiming strategies for social security to help understand how to make decisions about when to retire, how to claim spousal benefits, and how to navigate Social Security regulations to maximize their benefits.
